Dr. Picariello is a licensed Clinical Psychologist who owns and operates a private practice in Newtown, Pennsylvania. With over 20 years experience in a clinical setting, he is a graduate of La Salle University's APA accredited Clinical Psychology program. He specializes in cognitive-behavioral therapy with areas of expertise in health psychology, mindfulness principles and performance-enhancement. Prior to establishing his private practice, he spent five years in a group private practice as the Clinical Director where he supervised and trained Masters and Doctoral interns. His ten years at Moss Rehabilitation Hospital is where he treated brain injury survivors. Interactions with spouses and loved ones during their dramatic life transition issues led to him developing his career therapeutic approach.
He obtained his Bachelor's degree in Psychology at Lehigh University, where he was selected as an All-American football player. It was there he first developed his determination and persistent style that later transitioned to his energy and perseverance as a health care professional. In addition to being a prominent psychologist, Dr. Picariello is a Certified Forensic Consultant, who provides expert witness testimony and is the former Vice President of the Bucks County Collaborative Law Group where he continues to address a multitude of audiences speaking on the topics of collaborative divorce, emotional health, and the needs of children.
