About Me

Dr. Lee Picariello is an interactive, solution-focused therapist. Clients connect with his here and now therapeutic approach that targets the specifics of the presenting problem and offers direct feedback. He effectively addresses personal life challenges and integrates complementary techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored for each individual. Client testimonials speak of his empathy and warmth coupled with a firm therapeutic direction, maximizing their strengths and helping them attain personal growth.

Dr. Picariello is a licensed Clinical Psychologist who owns and operates a private practice in Newtown, Pennsylvania. With over 30 years experience in a clinical setting, he is a graduate of La Salle University's APA accredited Clinical Psychology program. He is an expert in human behavior who specializes in cognitive-behavioral therapy with areas of expertise in health psychology, mindfulness principles and mental fitness. Prior to establishing his private practice, he spent five years in a group private practice as the Clinical Director where he supervised and trained Masters and Doctoral interns. His first ten years in health care were at Moss Rehabilitation Hospital  where he assessed and treated brain injury survivors. Interactions with patients, spouses and loved ones during their dramatic life transition issues established his foundation and career therapeutic approach.

He obtained his Bachelor's degree in Psychology at Lehigh University, where he was selected as an All-American football player. It was there he first developed his determination and persistent style that later transitioned to his energy and perseverance as a health care professional. In addition to being a prominent psychologist, Dr. Picariello is a Certified Forensic Consultant, who provides expert witness testimony and is the former Vice President of the Bucks County Collaborative Law Group where he continues to address a multitude of audiences speaking on the topics of collaborative divorce, emotional health, and the needs of children.
